The best financial calculator in store !

I dont usually write reviews unless I feel cheated by some developer who misguides you into buying their app only to find out you cant use it. I have to say this app is a MUST for anyone in finance. I bought a $75 calculator and then found this app. THEY ARE EXACTLY THE SAME. In fact this calculator actually does more. I am in Real Estate and I have to say this app will be used in every deal and every negotiation I do. Thanks to the developers for doing such a great job and please keep the updates coming! Do yourself a favour if you are thinking about making this purchase. Just get it... You wont be disappointed.

I have bought a couple of apps from this guy and really like the attention to detail in his apps: they are elegant and well-executed. Some issues with third-party data but he is working on it and is prompt to respond. I look forward to an HP 17 and 19 BII version; some more menus to include the venture capital method, Private equity related equations, and multiple step (5) ROE would be just the start of my wishlist! I fully support his efforts and if I can squeeze in another request: a valuation app! UPDATE: need solver! Maybe time for a 17/19B II version?

this is even better than the real thing! comes with a bunch of spreadsheet like templates - loan amortization, lease calculator and more. also has a currency conversion with currency rates that update with a click. keep track of your work with accounting tape or send the results by email.

I am very happy with this app. As a mortgage broker I need this tool everyday. The actual calculator costs more than $40. This one I can have with me everywhere and can share between my iPhone and iPad. Without a doubt worth the money.

This App is fantastic!! After playing around with it a little it did not take long to figure out the features. Probably one of the most functional apps I have download to date. Best part is, NO ads! The creators did a job well done.

I used the previous app, the Calc 10IIB, and used it everyday in advising for mortgages and amortization calculations. During my off time, currency conversions for travel, and unit conversions were also very useful. Glad to have upgraded to be compatible with the new OS7. Great app with lots new features and save capabilities - its no longer a calculator its a lot more.

I am a financial advisor on the go all the time. Its great to have this app wherever I am because I dont always carry my calculator... But I do always have my iPhone! Also, the support is fantastic. Great job!

It works for iPad and iPhone

This app is among the best and most realistic financial calculator apps I have come across. I used it for a finance class, and it helped me get good familiarity with HPs 10BII calculator. The developer was kind enough to let me try out his counterpart TI financial calculator app, so that I could decide which calculator was best for me in my finance class. As I found out, the 10BII is much more convenient for me. Apps that let you test different calculators at a fraction of the cost are very valuable. Among many calculator emulators, Ernest Brocks apps are the most similar I have seen on the App Store to their physical counterparts (while extending them in unique but tasteful and true ways for power users). The calculators he chooses to emulate are seldom emulated by other developers, but very valuable. More apps of impeccable, timeless quality like those made by Mr. Brock are badly needed on the App Store. I strongly recommend this app without hesitation for student of finance and anyone who wants HPs 10BII Financial Calculator on their phone.

10BII HD works great with older iPhones (4, 4S, 5, 5s), but one of the reviews said no 6, 6s support ---That I dont know: currently using a 5s with iOS 10. I have used this calculator of Ernest Brocks for at least 5 or 6 years, in all the versions (on an iPhone 3G, 4s, 5s). I purchased all his financial calculators to test them out, but this is the one with the layout and key functions that I personally like to use. Mr. Brock has added in very easy prediction and amortization to the functions of the original HP hardware calc. The calculations are always perfect (Ive purchased about 20 calc apps with weird errors in calculation), and this app has features and ease of use that go way beyond the "real" HP 10BII and my other hardware business/financial calculators (including an original HP19IIb, for calculator geeks). (side note: for a scientific calculator I use TLAs pCalc. Ernest Brock owns the financial calc realm, but I like the pCalc scientific functions.) For the 10BII interface, Ernest Brock has picked some easy to read colors for button labels, and when you enter a new current/future amount, interest, etc, the entry appears in little but readable (Im over 60) bright numbers below the keys. There are periodic useful improvements/ upgrades, that actually add to the usefulness and interface. In all the ways Ive used this calculator (bank accounts, mortgage, student loans, etc), NO GLITCHES!

This is another great calculator from this company. They keep making the best quality calculators and they are cheap too. I love the graphing features added to the worksheets on this.

I have relied on the iPhone version for several months and find it indispensable. Ive purchased the HD version for my iPad because I needed a handy calculator and in appreciation for Mr. Brocks immediate, diligent, and good natured support in interpreting an erroneous result that was due to user error; Remember to use a negative for payments when solving for other variables in TVM calculations. Congrats on another great iteration and many thanks!

Sure there are more things it could do, but it does exactly what it is supposed to do, does them well and has a lot of surprising bonuses.

This calculator is perfect. It does every financial function you want, plus graphs, plus now a choice of chain or algebraic calculations. I have used scientific and financial calculators for a long time and this is the one I use exclusively. Hands down the premier choice. Very well written program and excellent response time when entering values. Buy it today.

Id like the calc to fill up more of the screen. Keys are pretty tiny... When the tape (or other options) arent open, why cant you maximize the calculator? makes it easier to see and type.

Ernest Brock makes the best calculators for the iPhone and iPad. Period. They are all feature rich, attractive and they just plain work. So many apps are plagued with bugs and you have to wait for updates only to find the update messed something else up. Not so with his apps. They are all well thought out and excellently designed. The 10bII HD is a perfect example. He started with making a great looking Hp 10bII calculator, but added features the calculator was missing. Even though the calculator would handle TVM and Statistical functions the programmer added in worksheets with tables that makes using those functions so easy. The worksheets alone make the app worth buying. A number of other handy worksheets are also included from leasing decisions to Black Scholes bond valuations. This app has more features than the top of the line Hp 30b and 17bii+ calculators, but with the built in tables it is much easier to use. There is also a built in users guide. And customer support is outstanding. This app would be a bargain at twice this price. But at $5.99 its a steal.
